On Saturday the 29th February I arrived at a very windy Cork International Airport Hotel. A few treacherous shuttle runs to the car I was safely inside with the Green Outlook products ready to set up.
I was kindly invited to attend a fundraising Afternoon Tea for Down Syndrome Centre Cork, Forge Hill, Cork. The centre provides Speech and Language Therapy, Early Intervention Programme and Parent and Baby events for children up to 7 years and their parents.
We were treated to afternoon tea and a fashion talk, where sustainability and re-wearing your wardrobe featured heavily! I met some lovely women who enjoyed browsing the range of Green Outlook products on display.
Massive congrats to the organisers who raised €3000 on the day. I was delighted to be asked to attend the event and contribute to this fundraiser. If you would like more information on the centre please check out their website.
