- Producer: Janni Bars
- Origin: Kildare, Ireland
Janni, native to Sweden but living in Ireland, is behind Janni Bars. I met Janni at an event in Kildare. She is passionate about horses. She was inspired to come up with a solution for all the plastic bottle waste from washing horses. After that, Janni developed the range of plastic free soap bars and shampoo bars for friends, families, retailers and also hotels.
At Janni Bars it is important to use only natural ingredients, there is no need to wash ourselves and our pets in harmful chemicals, parabens, silicones etc. Our skin is the biggest organ of the body, and all that we put on it will be absorbed, for better or for worse.
The corner stones of Janni Bars soaps and shampoos is reducing waste and using all natural ingredients. Firstly, Janni uses minimal packaging. Secondly, her soaps and shampoos are Palm oil free and of course cruelty free. They are based on oils and butters, and enriched with essential oils, clays, salts, and mica minerals. Her bars are free from parabens, silicones, preservatives and SLS, hence make a great plastic free alternative for you and your family.

Love this shampoo bar. After 2 uses of the bar, the lather was really really good. Make sure you keep it dry (I use a round tin). My hair feels so light and fresh for two full days after washing and smells lovely as well. I’ve been using it for over a month now and it’s still going!

Love this shampoo bar, Iβve been using lush shampoo bars for about a year now and wanted to change to something more locally made, was abit worried that the quality wouldnβt be the same but wow this is actually better quality than anything Iβve used from lush, Iβve thick frizzy hair and this has it feeling so smooth, wish I switched over earlier. Was also having issues with my scalp from my lush shampoo bar but this one is really lovely on the skin and moisturising, scalp issues are almost completely gone already????????

This is my first shampoo bar to try. I’ve used it almost 20 washes now and it’s still a very good size and shape! I chose this bar as I have curly hair and had some dryness on my scalp near my hairline that was not going away. I can happily say it has gone away with using this product. I found it a little hard to get used to using versus bottled shampoo but once I found a technique that worked for me and my hair type, thickness, length it worked just the same as bottled shampoo but without the plastic guilt! Leaves my hair feeling very clean and light. I can definitely say I will repurchase a shampoo bar from green outlook when my current bar runs out π it’s great it’s Irish made too
